Releases5th Paraná Business Collection moves 11,5 millions in businessThe Business Show Room at the fifth edition of Paraná Business Collection generated R$11,5 millions in closed deals and prospected, a slightly value above the result in 2010. The information was given by Sebrae/PR and by the Industry Federation of Parana State (Fiep), hosts of fashion and business event that agitated Curitiba last week, from February 14th to 19th. The Business Show Room, that happened from Tuesday to Friday, at the Fiep Convention Center, gathered 45 paranaense brands from the west, southwest, north, northwest and south central of the state. Approximately 150 buyers from several Brazilian states were invited to know the quality, style, design and creativity of paranaense’s production. As well as retailers from Curitiba and Metropolitan area. According to Sebrae/PR’s CEO, Allan Marcelo De Campos Costa, the Business Show Room at the Paraná Business Collection consolidates each year. “The initial expectation indicated an increase in the number of prospected businesses in 2010, yet, with the economy heated and the bull market, a lot of retailers anticipated their shops in previous events to Paraná Business Collection. Keep up the value of R$ 11,5 millions in dealt and prospected businesses is an excellent result”. To Sebrae/PR’s CEO, the retailers’ behavior is an indicator that must be considered during the market strategy review of the event. “Paraná Business Collection is na event that gathers the best in paranaense fashion and production. Each year, the paranaense fashion industry stands out by its creativity and quality. As well as expanding its horizons”. Example of it is the strengthening, checked once more in this edition, from the cooperation between Parana and the Italian region of Emilia-Romagna, initiative that stimulates the exchange of information among young stylists, that are the face of paranaense fashion. “Both on the catwalk and in the Business Show Room, the paranaense entrepreneurs showed themselves more prepared to answer the increasing demand of the Brazilian market”, highlights Allan Marcelo de Campos Costa. Fiep’s vice-president, Edson Luiz Campagnolo, who is na entrepreneur at the garment sector, also highlights the quality in paranaense fashion presented on the catwalk of PBC. “Parana shows, each year that has not stopped being just a commodities producer to be a fashion producer, which classifies us among the main polos of this sector in Brazil”, he affirms. To Campagnolo, more importante than the achieved sales during the event is the exposition obtained by the participants’ brands. “The visibility and the media’s return gotten by the brands create real desire objects to costumers and retailers. This will certainly result in greater sales when these collections become popular”, concludes.
