The Sebrae/PR attends about 1,2 thousand of small companies of clothing, in many states in development. Part of this, still in support work, focused in business management; the other are in intermediary landing, starting to work with themes such as brand management; and another already work and invest in brand management, they are structured and have their brands in shopping mall.

The actuation of Sebrae/PR, in all productive fetters of clothing is divided in two things: actions from states to big scenery; and actions from regions, adapted to each local.

The Sebrae/PR also works with Locals Productive Arrangement (APLs) of clothing, which are throngs of companies in the same geographic space. The entity develops projects on APLs of Tricot in Ibituva; of Clothing in Londrina and region; of Confections in Maringá and Cianorte; of Fashion Baby Confection in Terra Roxa; of Confection on Southwest; of Caps Confection in Apucarana, besides programs such as Clothing Competitively of South Center that comprises companies from Curitiba and region; and the Development of Clothing Sector of West.

The textile industry dimension on Paraná

According information of Federal Economic Department of Industries of Paraná State (Fiep), in 2009, there are 5,4 thousand industries, the major are small companies. They employ almost 90 thousand people, which represents 6,8% of all employees of the sector in country.

On Paraná, the clothing sector it has strong relevance. It is the second sector that more employ between all industries from state. One of the principal characteristics of the industries from Paraná, it is the decentralization of their production. It exists industries through regions of Paraná.

One of the regions in notability it is North that concentrates more than 2.200 companies, representing 42% of total industries on sector. Also it exists high concentration of companies on Northwest (18,71%) and Metropolitan region of Curitiba (13,13%).

The sector produces 150 thousands of pieces per year and invoices R$ 4 billion on State. On ranking of Textile and Confection Industry Brazilian Association (ABIT), which gages the participation of PIB Textile and Confection, the Paraná appears between fours centers of production in Brazil.

The principal centers of production are Curitiba (many segments), Londrina (many segments), Apucarana (caps), Maringá (jeans), Cianorte (jeans), Terra Roxa (baby fashion), Southwest (masculine fashion) and Imbituva (tricot).
