Walter Rodrigues on Paraná Business Collection For the first time the stylist Walter Rodrigues will participate of Paraná Business Collection. During the event, he will minister a conversation about the theme Inspiration, Creation and the Fashion Product on Fashion Actualization Cycle. The presentation happens on February 23rd at 4:30 PM on Cietep.
To Walter, the conversation could be called like a “friendly conversation” that he comes to Curitiba specially to talk about his creation processes and the fashion connection. “Curious about the situation”, says, because it’s the first time that he participates of the event in Curitiba, he is excited and anxious to the Paraná fashion week and prepares his content to presents to the public in a unused conversation.
On the first part of the friendly conversation, the stylist will make a personal presentation that talks about “influences, inspirations and people”, says. On the second time, Walter intends to explain his creative process, his researches and his bases to make his creations to the fashion world.
The presentation of these researches will be made with images from many materials, like photos and draws, which he believes inspires him. “I’m based on six different universes to make my creations that are the on the decades from 30s, and 70s, on feminine, and masculine anthropology, the warm suit of Armour and samurai, and the XIX century”, explains the stylist.
Walter makes an analogy between the images and how this is inserts on fashion. “Movies, books, and the art by a general way are connected with my work”, says the stylist, who is famous because of his strongly defined style and very respectable. He is known by the elegant, glamour, refined, light and sensual silhouettes, besides the oriental universe that is inserted constantly in his peaces.
The stylist makes part of the Brazilian fashion history. In 1992 he casts etiquette with his name and participated in all events from Morumbi Fashion, nowadays São Paulo Fashion Week. Since 2004 he defiles on Fashion Rio. In 2004 he has internationalized his trend mark showing collections on Paris Fashion Week and on Colombia Fashion Week.
