What it is coming – 02/25 The programming of this Thursday, February 25th, on 4th Paraná Business Collection is:
9. a.m. to 12 a.m. (Caio Amaral Gruber Auditorium, Cietep) – The hatter from Curitiba, Tânia Ribas, realizes the workshop: Which Hat Should I Go. Tânia Ribas “was born doing hats”. When she was a child, she faked her grandmother, Carmem Ribas Caramez, who made her own hats and accessories to her dolls. Tânia produces, fixes, and develops hats to plays, cinema and television. The workshop is limited to 20 participators and costs R$ 50.
2 p.m. (Caio Amaral Gruber Auditorium, Cietep) – The editor of section Viver Bem from journal Gazeta do Povo, Danielle Brito, will be mediator of the debate Excessive Thinness: Beauty Standard? The debate is opened to public.
3:30 p.m. (Caio Amaral Gruber Auditorium, Cietep) – Suzana Avelar talks about Globalized Fashion and Digital Culture. Suzana is graduated in Fashion Design by Santa Marcelina Faculty, and became doctor on Communication Semiotics. She acts in confection and nowadays teaches on Textile and Fashion by São Paulo University. The conversation is opened to public, the registration are gratuity and can be done on local.
After conversation, Suzana Avelar realizes an autograph session of the book Globalized Fashion and New Technology. Editor: Estação das Letras e das Cores.
7 p.m. (Fashion Show Room, Horácio Sabino Coimbra Convention Center, Cietep) – Raffer – brand from Francisco Beltrão – presents on catwalk its stronger characteristics: the mix of classic and contemporaneous elements. Hot cloths, such as velvet in jackets, and coasts.
8 p.m. (Fashion Show Room, Horácio Sabino Coimbra Convention Center, Cietep) – Chita Brasil, brand from Mandaguari, on North of state, debuts on PBC with the collection inspired in stained glass window. They are pieces with colorful patterns, created by the plastic artist Cristina Agostinho, all in geometric or organic formats. The clothes have waist marked and symbolic elements, such as rose, fish, heart, spiral, stars and mandalas, made with the intention to get a collection more contemporaneous.
9 p.m. (Fashion Show Room, Horácio Sabino Coimbra Convention Center, Cietep) – The brand from Curitiba Joyful presents collection focused in maintainability, in elegant and sophisticated pieces. To the 2010 Winter collection, the inspiration is the bicycle, a kind of transportation that does not pollute and brings benefits to the health. All the pieces are developed by natural cloths, such as organic cotton, linen and fish skin.
