Elegance and sophistication with Lucia Figueredo The proposal of the fashion designer Lucia Figueredo to 2010 Winter has two themes: Warriors Queen, which brings a revival from 80s, with structured shoulders, vibrant colors and brightness; and New Diva with inspiration on decade of 40 and on Greek Goddess. On catwalk, dresses, fur jackets, tailoring jackets and pieces in silk, with detail in fur and plumes. The color predominant is black with golden, silver, pink and purple that bring references of animal skins. These creations make part of the Diamond Line, concept collection of the fashion stylist, to parties.
The brands have won force on national market, known such as Lucia Figueredo, Retrato Falado, and Lu and Lu. On catwalk of Paraná Business Collection, the fashion designer will present the Winter collection, which takes her name to modern woman. “They are pieces made for sophisticated women, who do not worry only with clothes, but also with body and mind”, affirms Lucia.
About Lucia Figueredo
The history of Lucia Figueredo is similar to history of its creator, Lucia Figueredo Topan. In 1979, when she was 14 years old, she conquest her first contact with fashion, when she has worked in a factory of confection in small city, called Japurá, on Paraná. With her salary, she did not get enough money to realize all her dreams, such as open her own store, but with creativity and determination, she changed the job to look for her dreams: she started to sale clothes at doors to doors on the weekend. With persistence, she joined money and open her business, a little store called “Lucinha Modas”.
The comfort and creativity of her productions give to her visibility to the name Lucia. After one year, she went to Cianorte (one of principal centers of confection industry of Brazil South) where she opened her first store to sale direct to clients, who came from many other states of country. In 1997, the brand Lucia Figueredo started to be represented on many states of Brazil. Because of that, she created the second brand (Retrato Falado). Today the company of Lucia produces 80 thousand pieces per month and employs 674 people, and more 1500 indirectly. The production is made by the unity from Cianorte, which is just one of six (localized on cities of Iracema do Oeste, Japurá, Braganey, Iguatu and Umuarama).
