The granddaughter
niece of plastic artist and sculptor João Turin,
Elisabere Turin, could not miss traditional award that take away the name of
the artist. She is coordinator of Casa João Turin, and delivered this Friday, 26, a trophy to Silvia
Bortoloto, coordinator of Fashion Design Course of Maringá University of State,
of Cianorte Campus, after winner announced Acácio Mendes Pereira Neto. Silvia
was rewarded to represents the education entity of the prizewinner student. According
to Elisabete, in 2010, the fashion show run away of common, “it is more modern,
contemporaneous, and grew up such as PBC”. She believed that João Turin Award
and PBC are responsible to “fashion and art from Paraná do not have frontiers”,
said. After the award, Elisabete presented, besides fist place, the winners
Carolina Toppan Rabello, on second place, and Rubia Dallarmi Nisgoski on third
place, with her book The Art of João Turin. The book has biography of artist, researches
about the João Turin, and preface of art critic Fernando Bini and plastic
artist Loio Percio.
