Alice Ruiz delivered award to João Turin winner (photo: Daniel

In its seventh edition, the João Turin Award,
with the theme “Paulo Leminski, the Man, His Word, and His Times” has the
presence of the poetry Alice Ruiz, widow of the writer Paulo Leminski. She delivered
the first place award to student Acácio Mendes Pereira Neto, of Maringá
University of State, on Cianorte Campus, on 26th, during fashion show
of finalists. To Alice,
“there is no away to describe her feelings” of participating of a competition
that takes such as theme, the work of her love Paulo. “I made part of judge commission,
and it was difficult to choose between creativity works, but she agreed that
the three finalists were more faithful to the theme of this edition”. The poetry
fell emotion when talked about her husband and said that “meantime he had gone,
