1st Meet of coordinators marked new trajectory of fashion from Paraná (Photo:

One
initiative pioneer of Paraná Business Collecton mobilized 22 representatives of
courses from fashion area of state participated of the 1st Meeting
of Coordinators of Fashion Courses of Paraná. The idea was create a space to
teachers discuss about education, fashion, and market of work on State.
The debate
happens on Friday (26), and has such as coordinator Doroteia Pires, director of
Design Department of Londrina University of State, and the participation of
Angela Valiera, manager of Carreira Fashion – biggest company of human resources
of Fashion from Latin America, and also coordinator of En Moda, School of
entrepreneurs, which is biggest Scholl of Fashion on-line of Brazil.
During the meeting, Angela
presented a research realized by Carreira Fashion about the market of work of
fashion. The results showed the number of vacancies and demand. On Paraná, for
example, to each five vacancies to stylist, there are 19 curriculums of
interested people, while each eight vacancies for maker of models, there is
only one person interested, which showed a deficiency also of behavior of
students, of teachers, and the missing of courses of maker of models.
The research also showed a
vision of entrepreneurs, showing about the difficult on time to look for a
professional. Between the items of difficult is: the entrepreneur spirit career
inside a company, perseverance, and patience. To Patricia, the information,
besides be negative, show that the quality of courses is satisfactory to technical
level, but partly proper to complete formation of professionals.
The problem made each
coordinator discuss casually the specific difficult of their regions, such as
missing the course of Maker of Models, worried with market of work, ethic,
behavior and compromising of students.
On the end of the meeting, was unanimous the
choice to realize a second meeting on next semester of 2010, to deepen more difficult
feel by fashion courses of Paraná.
