The stylist Isabella Seghese during the 3rd PBC. Isabella Shimiu Seghese talks about her work Since
2005 on market, the picnicdelefante is commanded by Isabella Shimizu Seghese
and brings, on her peaces, a mix of cloth prints, applications and modeling.
For Isabella, the principal objective is develops collections connected to the
last fashion tendencies, but with a focus in arts and behavior. Between her
options are also purses, little purses, picnicbags, coin bags, make up bags and
handkerchief workmanship. By the way, workmanship
is the big characteristic of the trend mark.
How do you see the fashion on a globalized world
that we are living?
Because
we work only with sales on the internet, I consider the globalization and,
mainly, the sites like an instrument very positive to the picnicdelefante.
Also, the facility to the access to a lot of people and the publicity without
costs, made by social net, are an important instrument. The internet, in first
place, is amazing, because lets somebody get in contact with our creations.
What do you think about what someone needs to have
style?
Before
anything, is necessary that the person knows what clothes stay dress well, or stay
more appropriate to the body. Knowing that, after, you will recognize what do
you like, and what clothes promote you, is easy to have style and create your
own style.
What do you consider a trend mark of style?
To
me a trend mark of style is the one that has a proposal very defined, with a
good organization of its themes, and with focus on a specific public and
creating collection based on its objectives.
Do you realize any kind of research to elaborate your collections?
Yes,
I do a lot. From the moment that I define what I’m going to work, I search make
a lot of research about my theme. If I decide create a collection based in a
period, for example, I look for know what was happening on the period. From
that, I define the lines that I will follow and start to produce.
What messages do you like to give for who intends to invest in fashion?
I
will say to the person to invest in new, something that the market needs. Or
something that brings originality and creativity. In the same way that the
fashion is in constant rereading of decades and past styles, it is possible
works with the new, principally by the research. Don’t for get that nowadays
exist a lot of instruments that animate the creativity, for example, the
technological cloths.
Do you have any fashion concept that has change along you career?
I believe
that, since 2005, when we cast the trend mark on the internet, we were capable
of along the years to establish a proposal more concrete to the
picnicdelefante, which are young, delicate and romantic clothes. And, nowadays,
on my collections, this proposal is more present.
For
whom public do you direct your works?
My
clothes are especially to young people.
What are the inspirations that direct your works?
The
2010 winter collection, called by “My pink world” was all based in a history
that I have imagined, of a ballerina that express all her form to see the world
by the dance. In this way, the peaces that will be present during the 4th
Paraná Business Collection will bring a lot of movement, with a backward air. I
believe that the ballet is the dance more romantic and delicate that exists,
and I look for work with that in my creations. This theme that I choose cases
perfectly on the proposal of the trend mark.
Whom fashion professionals do you admires and inspires you?
I
really like the trend mark Maria Bonita and the Alexandre Herchcovitch, Ronaldo
Fraga and, specially, Chanel.
