Fashion Globalized and Digital Culture are themes on conversations on IV PBC

During the 4th Paraná Business Collection, the Fashion Actualization Cycle brings conversation with the doctor on Communication and Semiotics, Suzana Avelar, on February 25th at 15:30 PM. The theme boarded will be Fashion Globalized and Digital Culture, also theme of her book. The converser intends to discuss the actual fashion, the Brazilian identity, the process concept of this identity and the technology. There are two important topics, “one about nowadays on fashion system and another about technology and fashion”, says the specialist.

Between these themes, Suzana will board the fashion tendencies demys­tification; she will explain how is the function of fashion system. According to her, “treat the contemporaneous fashion involves globalization and digital culture factors, totally integrate on quotidian of people”, and is based in this that she will minister the conversation with focus on clearing up about fashion industry, and the international market, and artists movements of XX century. 

Another question boarded by the stylist are the new technologies. “It isn’t just the machinery, but the cloth and researches on laboratory are wining more space each time”, says Suzana. Behind a cloth peace, can be a lot of study technologic and esthetic. Since the production of the cloth, the way of colors painting, the smooth, the sewing, the cut and the finishing are process that claim for technology in some companies.

It is a conversation with a theme very actual, come back to a “public that are worried just not with fashion tendencies but to what is behind that”, explain the converser. The inscriptions are free. Suzana has acted on confection area and nowadays is teacher of the Textile and Fashion Course of the Art and Human Sciences Scholl – USP.
